Because what transhumanism and advanced AI promise is not just better tools, but a kind of perfect protection. A world where fear, pain, emotional overwhelm, trauma, and even death itself are increasingly managed, regulated, or engineered away.
And for many people, that will feel like healing.
But it’s not the same thing.
